Ideas are a dime a dozen. They can come from anywhere, but it’s where they go that counts. Innovations are ideas making profits. Enviu is an international network organisation, scouting what they call WOW! ideas about innovative sustainable entrepreneurship, and bringing them to life. Essentially, Enviu is an ideas brokerage; it distills, refines and builds business models around good ideas; attracts partners; and generates energy from its network of organisations, not for profits, businesses, educationalists, and volunteers to make things happen.

For Enviu, WOW! ideas deliver sustainable outcomes, appeal to younger demographics and the progressively-minded, have a solid business case, and are scalable.

Based in the Netherlands, Enviu has established partnerships in Europe and globally. Current projects include a Loops Play developing new ways of using recycled clothing. Another is their portable sustainable dance club; a product that captures the energy of people dancing and uses it to light the floor on which they’re dancing.

Enviu has established a “non-loss” business model. No profit will be taken, and equity in the successful ideas will be used for its operating costs and to get the next batch of ideas off the ground.
