Powerhouse Wind started 3 years ago with the aim of developing the world's best domestic scale wind turbine system.
The result is the Thinair wind appliance, now at advanced prototype testing, and soon to enter local production and sales.
We believe small wind has a place in the distributed energy systems of the future, and on the right sites, can help create zero or even positive net energy houses.
Of course, to be near a house, it has to be quiet, safe & reliable and elegant as well as high performing, easy to use and economic.
