EnviroSchools is an amazing programme run largely by teachers in 671 primary and secondary schools. They do a whole range of extra-curricular activities, from planting school vege gardens to building solar panels on classroom roofs.
The government in its wisdom recently cut the funding for EnviroSchools, so among many other organisations and individuals, Good magazine has decided to offer financial aid. For the next two months (until September 31) we will donate 20% of all our subs revenue to EnviroSchools. This is part of our Good Cause programme, in which we choose a charity every issue to support and find a sponsor to help promote their casue.
