I am an organic grower and am keen to find an industrial designer to help finalise the design of a solar powered dehydrator. I am taken by Cradle-to-Cradle design concept and would like to talk to someone of like mind.
I foresee 3 sizes - commercial orchard, lifestyler, household.
Last season I built a bulky wood and thick glass proof of concept prototype and an orchardist who saw it is prepared to finance the next prototype (subject to realistic limits).
I have photos of the effective but cumbersome prototype that I built as well as a high level design brief.
It would probably most useful id the designer (or design student) was in the lower North Island of New Zealand.
