Around two months ago, we started our marine emissions control blog, www.cleanairatsea.com. In that short period of time, we have had over 1,000 unique visitors to our site, nearly all from the industry.
Controlling emissions is not an easy problem to solve, and it is a problem that is magnified from a technological perspective once you start talking about controlling emissions on ships.
One of STI's core competencies is the number of employees we have who hold doctoral degrees in chemistry and engineering. So, about a month ago, we added a forum to our blog, that is monitored by our scientific personnel who are able to answer highly technical questions.
Though the site traffic is growing daily, we have had trouble generating interest in the forum.
Our goal (and project) is to try and make the forum more interactive and generate further interest.
