CEMARS is the first 2 steps of the carboNZero programme. It recognises the actions of businesses who measure their greenhouse gas emissions, understand their carbon liabilities, and put in place management plans to reduce emissions in their organisation and more widely through their supply chain.
CEMARS has been developed for businesses who are large emitters and for whom offsetting is not a viable business proposition or have not yet made the business case for carbon neutral status.
