I'm passionate about sustainability and doing big things that not only make an impact in NZ, but that lead by example, not by preaching. I was lucky enough to be asked to lead the carboNZero certification programme for Meridian a couple of years ago and I jumped at it because I knew it would raise the profile of sustainability, and others would follow. And they have.
My focus currently is on assessing regions using systems thinking, and assessing waste streams to see where we can gain scale to generate energy from waste. I am also studying Towards Sustainable Practice at Otago Polytech, and I aim to become a The Natural Step adviser.
Be the change you wish to see in the world.
If you think you can do something or you think you can't you're right!
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
Be, do, have (not have, do, be which is our western world view).
