During her five years at Parducci, Kelly Lentz has helped lead a transformation that put the winery at the forefront of sustainable business practices. In 2007, she designed and implemented Parducci’s program to become the nation’s first carbon neutral winery which was quickly followed by a winery transition to 100% green power in 2008. As a member of the winery’s green committee, she has hands-on experience in what it takes for a winery to go green, from using of 100% post consumer recycled and tree-free papers to converting winery equipment to bio-diesel.
Kelly has been active in winery industry since a weekend college job at Cantiga Winery in Lockeford, CA. She quickly fell in love with the passionate people and exploring what it took to make great wines. After graduating with top honors (Phi Kappa Phi, Ambassador Richard Pedersen Award for Academic Excellence, Dean’s Award) from the University of the Pacific (BA in International Relations), she joined the team at the Parducci.
