About Me

It's an interesting time to be alive, make no mistake. We enjoy a quality of life that is unprecedented, but with it has come huge inequality, and environmental crisis.
We need to work backwards from the point we've reached. As we settle for sustainable levels, we need to examine our culture of consumption. We need to fix our addiction to growth, and our assumption that bigger is better. We may need to learn to live with less, so that others can enjoy their share of the earth's resources. And we need to redefine wealth, from stuff to quality of life, from having to being.

Quotes

"In the world of minor lunacy, the behavior of both the utterly rational and the totally insane seems equally odd."
John Kenneth Galbraith, The Affluent Society
