Eliav is a student at Columbia University in New York City. At Columbia he's worked with the university to initiate their first greenhouse gas emissions inventory, and make sustainable purchasing decisions. Eliav led an Environmental Engineering team that built a solar panel with 25% improved efficiency. He's worked as a research assistant on wind and renewable energy, and has spent the last year working for Columbia's Social Enterprise Program, researching socially responsible business, and helping administer a pro-bono consulting program. He has seven years of experience as an outdoor and environmental educator at Wolfe's Neck Farm.
