Freelance writer and communications designer, specialising in business innovation and global sustainability.
After gaining his master’s degree in creative writing, Andy hacked his way as a local newspaper journalist and photographer. Then a landmine-dodging charity mission to Angola in 2002 transformed his life.
He became fundraising information officer for WWF-UK, and then its lead copywriter, designing and writing communications as part of its £30 million a year operation.
He has since reported from many of the world’s environmental hot spots. He continues his work for WWF and other NGOs and writes regularly for several magazines, including HB Media's Idealog and Good. He also provides commercial copywriting to environmentally-conscious and innovative companies.
