The Hikurangi Foundation is an independent, not-for-profit organisation with a mission to help New Zealanders take positive, practical, and innovative action on climate change. Hikurangi takes a strategic look at systemic failures and develops opportunities for effective action on climate change. We work to bring people and resources together to make change happen. We support innovation and learning and try to reach all walks of life. In our first three years of operation we have catalysed over 25 projects that have improved the lives of New Zealanders and opened new ways of thinking about how we build grow our communities and economy.
