What's wrong with 'working the best for people, planet and profit'

Vincent - because it doesn't help people get their heads around what this actually means. Mind you even if you gave a Natural Step type definition - something like; "Sustainability is taking no more from the planet that can be accurately measured and restored by natural processes over the same timeframe as the use of the resource" - I suspect most people would see that the required changes are so large that they would be mostly overwhelmed and thus refuse the definition anyway.
