This series entitled "Hard to swallow" is a memorial to the 266 Minke whales and 1 Fin whale taken last year in the Southern Ocean 'harvest' until it was cut short by storms and the action of the protest ship Sea Shepherd.
There are 267 finely crafted affordable ($267 plus GST) domestic sculptures based on readily available Japanese whale meat.
