Soar Printing likes to be considered to be at the forefront of the printing industry offering an extensive range of services - from short run digital printing to long run offset printing and large format poster prints. And how does this look in practice ?
· Induction process includes sustainability training
· Always have at least 2 apprentices in training who work alongside older staff to learn skills
· Purchased 1st Anicolor press in NZ (much less paper waste)
· Independently certified environmental accreditations (FSC, PEFC, Enviromark Diamond, ISO 14001, carboNZero)
· Standard paper lines which are used by default are FSC or PEFC certified using inks that are 99% vege based
· Activity per tonne of landfill waste has improved by 40% since 2008 and the company recycles 99% of its waste paper.With a focus on reducing fuel consumption from company cars and vans, activity per litre of fuel has improved by 76% since 2007.
