Energy efficient boiler tuning can reduce running costs by as much as 25%.
EECA is currently trialling a ‘best practice boiler tuning procedure' developed by industry experts, and is funding a portion of the cost of each selected tuning (up to $5,000).
Included in the tuning procedure are checks for:
Boiler reliability
Combustion tuning
Heat loss
Hot water or Steam leaks
Heat recovery
Fuel quality
Clean heat-transfer surfaces
Only a limited number of boilers will be included in the pilot.
