Designed to get the brains into gear ...an  interesting possibility from the US , and could it be adapted here?
This one called Inventours comes from Michelle Greenwald, a marketing professor at Columbia and NYU.
It's called Inventours and its a weeklong programme in a city that gives participants an immersion course in creative processes by going behind the scenes and taking part in the creative processes in a variety of companies. It covers fashion, food, product and industrial design, architecture, art and interior design , all course run here in New Zealand , and all areas where there are some unique and wonderful places that would be in high demand.

As PSFK put it "In today’s highly collaborative, fast-paced business environment, innovation is often found at the intersection of seemingly unrelated ideas or even disciplines. With that in mind, this executive education course hopes to trigger unexpected inspirations as a result of visiting with thought leaders from a range of creative companies – from J.Crew to Shapeways".

The first ‘Inventour’ will take place in NYC and is scheduled for August 2011, with 2012 cities including: Barcelona, Stockholm, Paris, Copenhagen and Seoul, among others.

We can see this happening easily in cities in New Zealand. Perhaps we  could even add one that is focussed around innovation and creative process in clean tech.

Can I give someone from Celsias a call? I would love to discuss collaboration possibilities. Best.
