Procurement is a powerful place to start implementing sustainable practice at work. Factors include total cost of ownership, ethcial sourcing, recycling and GHG audit trails. This is a huge area so I invite experts to beging to collect material in this thread.
But here is a good place to start: the procurement guide released in August by the NZBCSD. It's a guide for government, but its written for business to understand how governments are increasingly buying with sustainability at the core of their decision-making.
